Managing data across your various tools can be cumbersome, and if you hate spreadsheets like me, it’s enough to make you want to pull out your hair.

Which is why I’m excited to share that we’ve created a way to pull live data from Rival IQ into Google Data Studio. Google Data Studio is a free reporting and dashboard tool that combines multiple data sources into comprehensive and customizable reports.

If you can put it in a Google Sheet, it can go into Google Data Studio.

You’ll now have one customized dashboard to share internally with your team or leadership, or externally to clients or stakeholders.

To understand how to get started with Rival IQ in Google Data Studio, we turned to an expert in marketing analytics, Dana DiTomaso. Dana owns Kickpoint, an analytics-driven agency, and she walked us through what Google Data Studio is, why it’s valuable, and how to create reports and dashboards.
