Welcome to another Rival IQ update!
This time, let’s start out with our shoutouts. I’d hate for you to have to read to the end just to find out that we think you’re tops! For all of the emails, phone calls, feedback, and suggestions you gave us during this last sprint, thank you. Especially: GregM, ToddS, RichardW, ShaunB, PaulineR, BrianH, TraciL, CarlosS, JeffP, MichaelS, EricC, WillC, BradB, DavidP, TimR, AivarasR, and AndyM.
The holidays are here, and still, we have new features for you!
It was American Thanksgiving during our last sprint, and we all took the week off to be with our families. That’s the beauty of doing your own thing, right? You get to set the priorities and live by them, and for all of us here at Rival IQ, family comes first. Luckily for you, we added a week to the sprint so that we could bring our app closer to meeting your expectations.
You can go see all of this goodness over at Rival IQ:
- Company metrics and channel overview. A couple of sprints ago, we added the newest version of our dashboard that gives you the ability to explore your current and historical metrics. What we didn’t give you was an easy way to examine the same metrics for your competitors and peers. Now, our company profile pages feature a new “Channel Overview” section that enables you to quickly review positioning and keywords across channels. Also, we fixed up the “Metrics” tab of these profile pages to look and act like your dashboard (yes, we’re relieved the old one is gone, too).
- Sharing company metrics. You can export and share the new “Metrics” tabs within the company profiles just as you can your Dashboards and Competitors pages.
- Sharing analyze. It was a big sharing sprint. You can now export and share the graphs and tables from your Analyze page. Love it? Let us know what else you want to be able to share.
Here’s a look at the new Channel Overview pages:
And the Company Metrics pages:
What are we up to now?
LinkedIn. We have definitely heard you when it comes to your calls for data from LinkedIn, and we’re working hard to make that happen. Because we’re generally a do-the-right-thing kind of team (ok, we’re always a do-the-right-thing team, who am I kidding), we are taking a little extra time here to make sure that we can be a compliant consumer of LinkedIn’s data. We don’t want to have the experience of bringing you something that we have to take away later.
Pricing and web site launch. We continue to march forward on getting our initial pricing structure created, and this is a task with which you all have been *extremely* helpful. The public web site has been coming along as well, and we’ll keep hammering on that through the end of the year.
You can help us. Really!
Find something that confuses you, frustrates you, or you think is missing. Find something we can improve? (in our app of course. Fixing other things in your life are not so much within our purview.) Let us know so that we can make it better. Find something you love? We’d appreciate you letting us know that, too, since that’s the only way we’re getting paid for the moment.
Tell your friends and co-workers about what they’re missing. Help us help you by bringing more customers to Rival IQ. With more folks using the app, we get broader feedback. Feedback makes things better. You like better. We know you do.
If you made it this far, woohoo! Thanks for staying with us. Now go see it all!
The Rival IQ Team: John, SethP, Doc, and T.A.
